About

I was a whistleblower who worked at ConvaTec, Deeside, UK, between 1989 and 2000. Little did I know my whistleblowing would be an issue twenty four years later. I’m saying I was a whistleblower; the Prime Minister, the Home Secretary and my MP, don’t say anything, presumably they claim I’m a security risk, not worthy of replies to my emails.

On December 22nd, 2026, it will be a quarter of a century on from an event that helped define the Bush/Blair War on Terror; on December 22nd, 2001, UK/US security services claim a shoe-bomber, Richard Reid, tried to blow up a plane en-route from Paris to Miami. I was flying to Barbados that same day. Please read my story, then decide for yourself how my story stacks up.

Coincidentally, I flew to Barbados on June 15th, 2005, the very well publicised date Bristol-Myers Squibb entered into a Defered Prosecution Agreement with the American Department of Justice in order to prevent BMS being prosecuted for security fraud. ConvaTec was a division of BMS.

Jack Straw, who was Foreign Secretary at the time of the Richard Reid affair, is now on the speaker’s circuit. Through one of the agencies that assign speakers, I have asked for Jack Straw’s contact details, so I can ask him to respond to my story and relate what he knows about the Richard Reid shoe bomb incident. If you are at one of his talks, you may wish to ask him yourself.

I consider my conflict with the US authorities ended after I reported events to the American Embassy London, in January 2008. See Documents page. Likewise, I see no mileage in continuing the conflict with ConvaTec and Bristol-Myers Squibb, a quarter of a century having past. I do though have a problem with MI5 and its masters. But what I really want is to sell my story, which would make a great film.
